Everything that fascinates Magdalena is deeply connected to cultural anthropology. Her sheer depth of experience as a coach and educator is built on her PhD research, which later became a book, centered on traditional wedding ceremonials of a small ethnic group living in Romania. This work moved the influence culture and tradition have on one's career path to the center of her coaching philosophy.
Magdalena Mot is the President-Elect of the ACE-WIL BC & Yukon and she contributes her knowledge on CERIC's Board of Directors, co-chairing the Academic and Practical Research Committee on career development at national level.
The technique of culturally integrated storytelling, a term Magdalena coined in 2004 with the launch of her homonymous webinar series offered through CERIC, led to the launch of a new coaching system that focuses on storytelling in various cultural contexts.
Magdalena empowers both organizations and individuals to move ahead using an authentic, step-by-step system that’s based on overlapping realities. Her work connects experiences gathered over 30 years of living, working, and studying in four countries and speaks directly to her core values of diversity, authenticity, and a drive to build inclusive communities.
